Ingredients: 1 ripe frozen banana, sliced 1 cup of fresh spinach 1 cup of milk of choice (more to taste--less milk=thicker smoothie)
Place ingredients in your blender of choice. Blend until smooth. Serves 1. You can also adds nuts, seeds, yogurt, or other frozen fruit. This is great alone or as a base smoothie.
Peanut Butter Energy Bites:
1 C Oats (I use old fashioned but any will work) 1 C Peanut Butter 1/2 C Honey 1/2 C Nonfat Dry Milk Powder
Mix all ingredients together. Form into balls (1 T per ball), Refrigerate for 1 hour before eating. Keep leftovers refrigerated. You can add nuts, whole or ground seeds, dried fruit, dark chocolate, etc.
