A flat, fast 2-mile course that goes through Tell City's historical downtown area and passes through the heart of the Schweizer Fest area.

A challenging course that starts fast in the downtown area before heading towards the hills on the outskirts of town. Once at the top, you will fly while coming back over the last 2 miles.

Kids Fun Run
A two block (.25mi) fun run for kids aged 7 and under.
The runners start at Frostop on Main Street and finish
under the banner at City Hall. All participants receive
a racing bib and ribbon. Best of all, it's free for any child!!

1 - Where does the race start?
The race will start on the 800 block of 7th street in Tell City. The 6-mile race will start approximately
50 meters in front of the 2-mile race. Both finish in front of St. Paul's Church on Main Street in Tell City.
2 - How does registration work?
We will be doing online registration through RunSignUp, a secure way to get you and your family entered into the race. Click Register Now to be taken to our registration page.
If you're old school and still want to print/mail a form, you can print off the entry form by clicking the button below and mail the form with payment or pick up a paper registration at Everbody's Fun & Fitness Center. Registration forms MUST be turned in no later than August 8th. After then, runners must register the morning of the race up to 7:30am. The registration booth will be on the North Side (closest to St. Paul's Church) of City Hall Park.
Participants MUST REGISTER NO LATER THAN 7:30AM THE MORNING OF THE RACE!!!
3 - Is there an early packet pick-up?
We will have packets available for pick-up Friday night at St. Paul's Church from 5:30-7:00pm. You may also pick-up your packet Saturday morning at the race.
4 - What's the course like?

5 - Am I guaranteed a shirt?
YES!! Unlike some races where there are a limited number of shirts, we have a policy that all runners will receive a shirt. Pre-registered runners are guaranteed to get their shirt race-day; those who register late will have to make arrangements for shirt pickup.
6 - It's hot in August. Will there be water on the course?
Absolutely!! Each mile will have a water stop with plenty of liquids.
7 - I plan on walking the 6-mile race - is there a time limit for walkers?
YES. If you are wishing to walk the race, that is fine. But the 6-mile course will close promptly at 10:00am. If you feel that you need more time, we'll make it work - just shoot us an email and we'll figure it out.
8 - Will there be awards?
We will be giving out delicious Hauenstein Fudge for the top 3 finishers in each category listed on the registration form. The overall winners (male and female) of the 2mi and 6mi races will also receive an award.
All kid participants in the Kids' Fun Run will receive participation ribbons.
