Kayla Lasher"I have always been overweight, and I still am but I'm well on my way to a healthier me. I have tried diets, I stopped drinking sodas more times than I can count, and I use to occasionally work out, but it wasn't until I joined biggest loser did I finally stick with it. I cannot thank this program enough for being so encouraging, and helping me keep motivated over these past 8 months. I started with the corporate challenge last summer, and it has forever changed my life. I am down 55 lbs since June, and my journey has just started. I am a mother of a rambunctious little boy named Waylon, he keeps me on my toes and helps out with my daily dose of cardio (haha). Having my son saved me, as cliché as that might sound. He inspires me to be who I am and he gives me the strength to carry on another day. Having Waylon has motivated me into wanting to be a healthier me. I want to be around to watch him grow, have enough energy to play with him, and be the mom he needs me to be. I have days where I could think of a million other things I'd rather do than go to the gym and workout, but I try my best to still go and I tell you what, I've never once regretted a workout. But I'm not going to lie, I don’t work out every day, I don't always eat healthy, but I am determined. You have to decide when enough is enough. You have to set goals and then you have to demolish them. You will cry, you will sweat, and you will think about quitting at least 6 times a day, but you won't and that is what strength and determination is. You are who you ultimately choose to be, because the best project you will ever work on is YOURSELF! I am a little over half way to my big goal of 100 lbs. I have a long way to go, and sometimes I tend to get discouraged, but looking back on how far I have already come is enough in itself to keep pushing me forward. I will never give up on a dream or goal because of how much time it may take, because the time is going to pass either way. So, if there's one thing you remember from my story, I hope it's this, it is never too late to begin your journey, it is okay to love yourself through every step of the way, and never, ever, ever get discouraged. Your body can stand almost anything, it's your mind you have to convince! " ~Kayla Lasher
