"I joined the Everbody's Fitness Center after retirement in 2010. I've always been active but to go to a gym to exercise was not something I had any desire to do. I never felt I had time to go to the gym but now it's high on my priority list. Good workouts, good friends and taking time for ME! Everbody's offers so many different classes that fits all abilities. Aqua classes are great for anyone that needs low impact. If you have problems getting up and down from the floor, try Chair Yoga. You'll get a good stretch and work on maintaining balance. The trainers and instructors at Everbody's are great! They really help you to get the most out of your class and make sure you do things correctly. A friend and I heard about the 'Biggest Loser' and decided to join together. Fast forward many seasons later and I am still participating. Being on a team holds me accountable. I love being on the 'Active Ager' team. The participants are more than teammates, they're friends! Our coaches keep us motivated, and most weeks, the scale shows a success! Thank you Everbody's for helping us stay healthy and active!" |
